Last updated: May 20, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using StorBell ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are using StorBell on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

StorBell is an AI-powered customer engagement and lead capture platform for ecommerce stores. The Service includes a dashboard for configuring AI assistants, a knowledge ingestion pipeline, an embeddable website widget, lead management tools, and related APIs and integrations.

3. Accounts and Organizations

You must create an account to use StorBell. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your credentials and for all activity under your account. StorBell uses an organization-based workspace model; you may invite team members and manage access within your organization.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. Accounts may not be shared or transferred without our written consent.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Access to paid features requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis via Stripe. You authorize StorBell to charge your payment method for all fees associated with your plan.

  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.
  • We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
  • Failure to pay may result in suspension or termination of your account.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use StorBell to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation
  • Transmit spam, malware, or deceptive content
  • Collect personal data from minors without appropriate consent
  • Impersonate any person or entity
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to StorBell systems or other users' accounts
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Service
  • Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to StorBell (product catalogs, knowledge base documents, store policies, etc.). By uploading content, you grant StorBell a limited license to process and use that content solely to provide the Service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights and complies with applicable laws.

7. AI-Generated Responses

StorBell uses large language models to generate assistant responses. AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for reviewing your assistant's configuration and knowledge base, and for any responses delivered to your customers. StorBell is not liable for damages arising from AI-generated content.

8. Intellectual Property

StorBell and its licensors own all rights in the platform, including software, design, trademarks, and documentation. Nothing in these terms grants you ownership of StorBell intellectual property. Feedback you provide may be used by StorBell without obligation to you.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from the billing settings. StorBell may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or at our discretion with reasonable notice. Upon termination, your access to the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, StorBell's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to StorBell in the 12 months preceding the claim. StorBell is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or dashboard notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which StorBell is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
